Though you find yourself without a star shining bright
To guide you to tomorrow’s shore
Time has a way to heal all wounds
To let you live in hopes and dreams once more
Never believe the worse is yet to come
For that too shall inevitably pass into tomorrow
Taking with it all hurt and sorrow
As well as the feeling of being betrayed
If you keep your hopes alive each day
You too will once be saved to enjoy heaven’s delight

A hope for you

Your sweet angel eyes cling to my lonely heart
Like a wondrous vine of eternal hope divine
Your smile continues to embed its spell upon me
I am at a loss of what to say and do beyond this reply
What is the chance of this dream never to come true
I suppose a continued chance to keep my eyes and heart on you
No matter how distant such a hope this may be
It remains perchance the dream one longs to forever true
If I am that fortunate one then whoever will do
To bring that eternal smile your angel face to blossom divine
My hopes and prayers no matter your choice I hope for all time
Will care and comfort for you in love and devotion most faithfully
May all your sweet dreams be realized for all eternity
